Course Description

• AP Chemistry 1 of 2 with the Regents is the first part of a two-term introductory college-level chemistry course taken in lieu of Modern Chemistry 1 of 2. In this fall-term course, students cultivate their understanding of matter, energy, and their interactions through a rigorous study of the following concepts: matter and measurement, the Periodic Table, bonding, stoichiometry, aqueous reactions, gases, solids, liquids, thermochemistry, solutions, kinetics, and equilibrium.
