Course Description

• Organic Chemistry 1 of 2 is the first part of a two-term introductory college-level organic chemistry course. In this fall-term course, students cultivate their understanding of structure, bonding, hydrocarbons, stereochemistry, radical reactions, alkyl halides, alkenes, alkynes, alcohols, ethers, synthesis, spectroscopy, and structural determination.
